The Role of Technology in my Profession and Life

As I was commenting about my career (Sound Engineer), this profession is always exposed to update of audio systems, that is to say, in my profession I need to be aware of the news about it. In the audio systems there are two kinds, these are, analogic audio and digital audio. As we stay in modern time or better say digital era, also in the around of audio, the sistems were modernized and today the most is working whit digital base, though some one still they are working whit analogue sistems because they say that they obtain better results and the special timbre. However, in my opinion I think the best system about these, is the digital, because it optimizes my work by I can edit all of music form my laptop and when I work in stage show, the mixer-console is very comfortable to prepare the sound check.

On the other hand, the technology is present in many aspects of my life and I use in all of side, other example is the smartphone, this it has all in one, because I can do things to kill some time and also can do move through Santiago city, really in this case the cellphone whit an internet access is fundamental to me. Even though I don’t use much the social networks, I need them because today is the better way to communicate whit my family and I think will be necessary to enhanced my own work. For this reason, I say that the technology is necessary to realize many things in a short time.

In spite of everything, I think that all the technology we don’t be completely happy, I say this because some people think that the spent in top technology is better, but in my opinion I believe there must be a balance between life and technology.
